At noon on Saturday, March 7, the Biola Eagles, led by former Roosevelt High School standout DJ Symons, fell 4-2 to the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles in NCAA Division II softball action.

The matchup was held at Golden Eagles Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Symons allowed just one earned run across six innings, finishing with four strikeouts and two walks.

The Eagles are set for a rematch against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Golden Eagles Field.
