Former Roosevelt High School star DJ Symons helped her college squad, the Biola Eagles, secure a 10-0 NCAA Division II softball victory over the Hawaii Pacific Sharks at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 16.

The contest at Freedom Field marked the team’s first faceoff with the Sharks this season.

Symons pitched six innings on the mound and tallied six strikeouts.

The Eagles will take on Hawaii Pacific Sharks again at Freedom Field at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 16.
