FIU Golden Panthers fall 9-4 to Boston Eagles; Jarek Woodward pitches three innings

Former Bishop Blanchet High School player Jarek Woodward and the FIU Golden Panthers were defeated 9-4 by the Boston Eagles in their NCAA Division I baseball game on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m.

FIU Baseball Stadium hosted the matchup, marking the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Golden Panthers previously lost to the Eagles 4-0 on Tuesday, March 3.

Woodward gave up two earned runs in three innings, with two walks and three strikeouts.

The Golden Panthers are set to play their next game on Friday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. at FAU Stadium against the Florida Atlantic Owls.
