Jarek Woodward, a former Bishop Blanchet High School player, helped the FIU Golden Panthers secure a 9-1 win over the Florida Atlantic Owls in an NCAA Division I baseball contest on Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m.

FIU Baseball Stadium hosted the teams for their fourth meeting of the season, which brought the series even between the two sides.

Woodward took the mound for one inning and issued one walk.

The Golden Panthers are set to play next on Thursday, April 2, facing the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at FIU Baseball Stadium.
