On Friday, March 20, former Garfield High School basketball star Katie Fiso contributed to her current college team, the Oregon Ducks, as they secured a 70-60 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies in the NCAA Tournament.

The matchup started at 1:30 p.m. at the Moody Center.

Fiso tallied 22 points, four assists, three rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes played.

Oregon’s next contest is scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. at the same venue.
