On Friday, March 20, Jaylen Petty, a former Rainier Beach High School basketball standout, contributed to Texas Tech Red Raiders’ 91-71 victory over the Akron Zips during the NCAA Tournament.

The matchup was held at Benchmark International Arena at 12:40 p.m.

Petty recorded 24 points, four assists, three rebounds and one steal across 37 minutes.

The Red Raiders are set to play again on Sunday, March 22 at 8:45 p.m., also at Benchmark International Arena.
