Jaylen Petty, a standout alumnus of Rainier Beach High School, appeared Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Texas Tech Red Raiders’ 80-68 win over the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The freshman guard, who stands 6-foot-1, put up nine points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out one assist over 32 minutes on the court.

Next for Petty and Texas Tech: a matchup on the road at Iowa State Cyclones set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.
