Former University Prep standout Zack Hampson helped lead the Linfield Wildcats to a 6-5 victory over the Pacific Boxers in an NCAA Division III baseball game held Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m.

The teams faced off at Roy Helser Field in their initial meeting of the season.

Hampson pitched four innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out one batter.

The Wildcats’ next contest will be played Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m. against the Pacific Boxers at Roy Helser Field.
