On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Chapman Panthers, featuring former Bishop Blanchet High School standout Brendon Manzano, secured a 27-17 victory over the California Lutheran Kingsmen in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The contest began at 1 p.m. at Ernie Chapman Stadium and marked the first tournament meeting between the Chapman Panthers and the California Lutheran Kingsmen.
Chapman’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 12 p.m. at Whitworth Pine Bowl.
