U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, who represents Washington’s 7th district in Congress, recently addressed topics ranging from national surveillance law to local tax reform and religious observance in a series of social media posts.

The following day, on March 20, Jayapal extended greetings for Eid al-Fitr: “Wishing a joyous Eid al-Fitr to Muslims in Washington, the US, and across the world! I hope the holy month of Ramadan brought peace, clarity, and joy to all who celebrate.”
Later that same day, she announced a new podcast episode featuring Washington State Senator Noel Frame. In her post she wrote: “NEW POD: I sat down with Washington State Senator Noel Frame to discuss the recently passed Millionaires Tax in WA and what we can do to fight for a more progressive tax system nationwide.
