U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, who has represented Washington’s 7th district in Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of statements on her official Twitter account addressing issues related to political corruption, the release of Epstein-related files, and Democratic Party figures.

On November 14, 2025, Jayapal addressed former President Donald Trump in a tweet: “Dear Donald, no matter what you do, you cannot turn the focus away from YOU and the Epstein files. Release ALL the files NOW, and it will show ALL the powerful pedophiles that are being protected regardless of party.”

The following day, on November 15, 2025, Jayapal criticized economist Larry Summers and his involvement with Democratic initiatives: “Way past time to get rid of Larry Summers on anything Democrats do–much less on any Democratic version of Project 2029. Now we understand why he was always willing to sell out working people–at the ready to suck up to the rich, powerful, pedophiles.”

Later that same day, she commented on government spending priorities and alleged corruption: “The corruption is stunning. No money for healthcare or food stamps for tens of millions of Americans, but plenty of money for a no-bid contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars for Noem’s buddies. SHUT IT DOWN.”

Jayapal has served as a member of Congress since succeeding Jim McDermott in 2017 and previously held office in the Washington State Senate from 2014 to 2016. She was born in Chennai in 1965 and currently resides in Seattle. Her educational background includes degrees from Georgetown University (BA) and Northwestern University.
