U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, who represents Washington’s 7th district in Congress, made several statements on November 12, 2025, through her official social media account. The posts addressed both local education leadership and national political controversies.

In a post published at 00:47 UTC, Jayapal congratulated the incoming superintendent of Seattle Public Schools: “Congratulations to Benjamin Shuldiner for his new role as the Seattle Public Schools Superintendent! Welcome to Seattle!” (November 12, 2025).

Later that day, at 14:48 UTC, she commented on a developing situation involving undisclosed files: “Release all the files. This is incredibly damning, and the American people deserve to know the full truth. NOW.” (November 12, 2025).

In another statement at 16:17 UTC on November 12, Jayapal detailed allegations related to former President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein: “Trump is in Epstein files. Trump spent time w/[at least] 1 victim. Epstein/Maxwell trying to leverage Trump on this. Trump pressuring GOP who signed discharge petition to release Epstein files to get off b/c @AdelitaForAZ will become final signature to get a vote.”

Pramila Jayapal has represented Washington’s 7th District in Congress since replacing Jim McDermott in 2017. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the Washington State Senate from 2014 to 2016 and currently resides in Seattle. She was born in Chennai in what was then Madras State in India and earned degrees from Georgetown University and Northwestern University.
