U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, who serves Washington’s 7th district, made a series of posts on November 18, 2025, addressing issues ranging from the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein to health care policy and recent economic concerns.
In her first post of the day, Jayapal referenced a previous inquiry she made regarding Kash Patel and the ongoing Epstein investigation: “Two months ago, I asked Kash Patel if he had met with any of the women who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein. He wouldn’t answer. Why? Because it’s all been one giant cover up — but today, we get one step closer to uncovering the whole truth.” (November 18, 2025)
Later that afternoon, Jayapal commented on former President Donald Trump’s stance on health care tax credits: “BREAKING: Donald Trump just confirmed that he will refuse to sign any extension of the ACA tax credits. It’s official: he and Congressional Republicans are in favor of health care premiums skyrocketing for millions of Americans in 2026.” (November 18, 2025)
Addressing broader economic issues in her final post of the day, Jayapal wrote: “As grocery costs, energy prices, and health care premiums skyrocket, Trump and Republicans are protecting pedophiles, building a fancy ballroom, and refusing to extend ACA tax credits. So, of course, they are trying to distract you by blaming immigrants. Don’t buy it.” (November 18, 2025)
Pramila Jayapal has represented Washington’s 7th district in Congress since replacing Jim McDermott in 2017. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she served in the Washington State Senate from 2014 to 2016. Born in Chennai in 1965 and currently residing in Seattle at age 57, Jayapal holds degrees from Georgetown University and Northwestern University.
