The Seattle Storm announced on Apr. 15 the signing of five players to training camp contracts: Rennia Davis, Beatrice Mompremier, Jaelyn Brown, Elle Ladine, and Jalyn Brown.
This move brings a mix of experience and collegiate success to the team’s preseason roster as it prepares for the upcoming Women’s National Basketball Association season.
Davis recently played for Nesibe Aydin in Turkey during the 2025-26 season, leading her team with an average of 20.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. She was selected ninth overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2021 WNBA draft but missed her rookie year due to injury before debuting in 2022. Mompremier spent last season with Xinjiang Magic Deer in China, averaging 15.8 points and ten rebounds per game after being drafted twentieth overall by Los Angeles Sparks in 2020 and playing three seasons with Connecticut and Atlanta.
Jaelyn Brown played for Dallas in 2024 and Connecticut in 2025, averaging just over three points per game during her time in the league. In Greece during the offseason, she averaged double-digit scoring along with notable rebounding numbers. Ladine completed her college career at University of Washington where she became eighth all-time for three-point field goals made at the school and helped lead her team to its first twenty-win season since 2017.
Jalyn Brown concluded her senior year at Michigan State University with averages of eleven points per game while shooting over fifty percent from the field; she previously played two years at Arizona State University where she led that program in scoring both seasons.
