The Seattle Storm announced on May 6 that the team has waived guard/forwards Jaelyn Brown and Rennia Davis.

The announcement comes as the team prepares for the start of the 2026 season. The decision affects roster composition as the Storm gets ready to face new opponents and begin regular season play.

According to the release, “The Seattle Storm announced today the team has waived guard/forwards Jaelyn Brown and Rennia Davis.” The move reduces competition for spots on the team’s final roster before their first game.

The Storm will open their season against the Golden State Valkyries on Friday, May 8, at Climate Pledge Arena. Following their home opener, they are scheduled to play three away games: against the Connecticut Sun on May 10, Toronto Tempo on May 13, and Indiana Fever on May 17.
