The Seattle University track and field team set 16 new individual personal records during the OSU PNW Invite, which took place from March 20-21 in Corvallis, Oregon.

The meet saw athletes achieve significant milestones, including three new entries into the Redhawks’ all-time top 10 list. These performances highlight the team’s progress early in the outdoor season.

In men’s steeplechase, Jeremy Posdon finished with a time of 9:39.86, marking the seventh-best performance in school history. Porter Buck followed closely with a time of 9:49.71 to claim eighth place on the all-time list. On the women’s side, Lydia Dale’s time of 11:44.81 placed her seventh in school history for steeplechase.

Distance events also produced strong results for Seattle U. Diana Camargo-Solis achieved a personal best in the women’s 5000 meters with a time of 18:34.86, while Azalea Groleau made her outdoor season debut with a finish of 17:12.65 as she continues to hold the school record in that event. Roman Radecki opened his collegiate outdoor career by running a near top-10 mark of 14:51.08 in the men’s race.

Additional highlights included Jordan White and Mira Danish setting PRs in the women’s 1500 meters; Alexzander Osorio achieving a PR of 50.88 seconds in men’s 400 meters; and several other Redhawks recording bests across sprints, jumps, and throws—including Matthew Fiso (100m dash), Nate Thomas (long jump/triple jump), Jackson Jarrett (javelin), and Branndi Bowechop (women’s javelin).

Relay teams also competed strongly, with Osorio joining Riley Tricas, Razo-Castaneda and Seku Sanders for a men’s relay finish of 3:29.24; Kaylyn Huynh led her teammates to sixth place on the women’s side at four minutes ten seconds.

This meet was Seattle U’s first trip to Corvallis this season; they are scheduled to return for another competition May 1–2 at Oregon State University’s High Performance Meet after participating next at split-squad events beginning April 3.
