The Seattle University men’s golf team announced on April 8 that it will compete in its final regular season tournament at the El Macero Classic, taking place April 10-12 at the El Macero Country Club in California. The event is hosted by UC Davis.

This tournament marks an important opportunity for the Redhawks as they conclude their regular season and look to build momentum heading into postseason play.

Representing Seattle U at this event are Kevin Li, Walker Lamb, Will Koch, Ben Ragland, and Conrad Chisman. In their most recent outing at the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational, the team finished sixth out of fourteen teams. Kevin Li delivered a notable performance with a third-round score of seven under par (65), including two eagles and two birdies in his last five holes. This round tied for the third-lowest in school history and secured him a third-place individual finish. Teammates Walker Lamb and Burly Hildreth tied for thirteenth place while Will Koch finished twenty-third.

Last year at the El Macero Classic, Seattle U placed thirteenth out of sixteen teams with Liam Gill leading the squad individually by finishing thirty-first overall.

The Redhawks will use this tournament as preparation ahead of postseason competition. Fans can follow updates on team progress through official channels or support student athletes by making contributions to Seattle University Athletics.
