The Seattle University women’s golf team finished 15th out of 17 teams at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, which took place April 6-7 at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.

The tournament was hosted by Southern Methodist University. The Redhawks’ performance was led by freshman Zoe Rubichon, who shot a five-over-par total of 221 with ten birdies and finished in 44th place. This marks the second time in her career that Rubichon has been the team’s top finisher.

Freshman Blayne Brown and Tsara Ralamboarison both tied for Seattle University’s next-best finish, each recording a nine-over-par score of 225 to tie for 67th place. Jeanne Padillo completed the event in 81st place with a score of +17 over par (233), while Aaryanna Morris finished in 83rd with +19 over par (235).

The team will compete next at their final regular season tournament, traveling to Goodyear, Arizona for the Bobcat Desert Classic hosted by Montana State from April 13-15.

This upcoming event will give the Redhawks another opportunity to improve their standings before postseason play.
