The Seattle University women’s golf team announced on April 4 that it will travel to Dallas, Texas, for the Huntington Bank Collegiate at Trinity Forest Golf Club. The tournament is scheduled for April 6-7 and will be hosted by Southern Methodist University. Both competition days are set to begin with a shotgun start at 6:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.

The Redhawks’ lineup includes Tsara Ralamboarison, Blayne Brown, Jeanne Padillo, Zoe Rubichon, and Aaryanna Morris. The team aims to continue its recent strong performance after finishing fourth out of sixteen teams at the Nashville Invitational. In that event, Ralamboarison placed third overall with a score of three over par (219), while freshman Brown finished ninth with five over par (221). Padillo achieved her best finish of the season by placing nineteenth.

This marks a return for Seattle U to an SMU-hosted tournament at Trinity Forest Golf Club; their last appearance was during the 2023 Trinity Forest Invitational. At that event, Morris led the Redhawks by finishing thirty-fifth with three over par (219), and the team finished twelfth out of fifteen teams.

The upcoming tournament represents one of the final opportunities for Seattle University’s women’s golf team to prepare ahead of postseason play.
