Seattle University women’s rowing will travel to Vancouver, Washington, for the Portland Invite on April 10, where they will race against conference opponents Portland and Santa Clara on Vancouver Lake.

The event is important as it provides another opportunity for the Redhawks to compete against familiar rivals within their conference. The team will field three boats in the competition: varsity eight, junior varsity eight, and varsity four. Races are scheduled to begin with the varsity four at 10 a.m., followed by the varsity and junior varsity eights.

This marks the second consecutive week that Seattle University has faced both Portland and Santa Clara. The Pilots have been frequent competitors for Seattle U throughout this season, with Saturday’s meet being their third encounter of the year.

After completing races at the Portland Invite, Seattle University plans to travel to California for a duel against Santa Clara before returning home for Opening Day during the first weekend of May.
