Seattle University women’s golf places fourth at Nashville Invitational

The Seattle University women’s golf team placed fourth out of 16 teams at The Nashville Invitational, according to a March 24 announcement. Three Redhawks golfers finished in the top 20, marking a strong showing for the team.

The performance highlights continued success for senior Tsara Ralamboarison, who finished third individually with a score of three over par (219). Ralamboarison’s best round came in the second round when she shot two under par (70) and recorded five birdies. This marks her fourth top-five individual finish this season.

First-year player Blayne Brown achieved her second career top-10 finish by shooting five over par (221) and making seven birdies to secure ninth place. Jeanne Padillo posted her best result of the season by finishing nineteenth with eight over par (224), improving on her previous best finish of forty-fourth. Padillo also tied her season-best round with an even-par seventy-two in the third round.

Other notable results include Zoe Rubichon, who placed just inside the top thirty with twelve over par (228), and Melissa Gilloz, who finished seventy-eighth at thirty-two over par (248). Competing as an individual, Aaryanna Morris placed seventieth with twenty-five over par (241).

The Redhawks are scheduled to compete next at the Huntington Bank Collegiate hosted by Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas on April 6-7.
