The Seattle University women’s tennis team will host its first two home dual matches of the season, facing the University of Idaho on March 18 and Montana State on March 19. Both matches are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the Amy Yee Indoor Tennis Center in Seattle.

These upcoming matches are significant as the Redhawks aim to recover from recent losses on their last road trip, where they were defeated by UNLV with a score of 7-0 and by New Mexico State with a score of 4-0. Additionally, the doubles team of Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta, who had previously been named West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week, experienced their first doubles loss of the season during this stretch.

Historically, Seattle U has struggled against Idaho, holding a record of one win and fifteen losses. Their only victory over Idaho came in 2024 with a 5-2 result. Against Montana State, the Redhawks have won two out of eight meetings, most recently losing to them in 2024 by a score of 5-2.

The upcoming home matches provide an opportunity for Seattle U to improve their records against both opponents and regain momentum as they continue their season.
