The Seattle University women’s tennis team will travel to Los Angeles to face Loyola Marymount University on March 29, marking its second West Coast Conference duel.

This match is significant as it is the first time Seattle U and LMU will meet in women’s tennis. The competition is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time at the LMU Tennis Center.

Seattle U has not played an away match since March 7, after hosting three home matches earlier this month. In their most recent contest, the Redhawks faced Santa Clara in their inaugural West Coast Conference match. The doubles team of Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta earned recognition for their performance, overcoming an early deficit of 0-4 to win their set 6-4 and secure the doubles point for Seattle U. Amina Avdic and Daria Nazarenko also contributed with a 6-3 victory in doubles play.

The upcoming duel represents another step for Seattle U as it builds experience within the conference schedule.
