The Seattle University women’s tennis team will travel to Portland for their final match of the 2025-26 season, scheduled for Saturday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. PDT at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center.

This concluding match holds special significance as it marks the last appearance for seniors Lola Tavcar, Natalia Michta, and Larissa Teramura as members of the Redhawks.

Seattle U will meet Portland for the eighth time overall and for the first time as West Coast Conference opponents. The Redhawks have yet to secure a win against the Pilots in previous encounters. Their most recent matchup in 2025 ended with a narrow 4-3 loss. During that contest, current team members Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta won their doubles match alongside teammates Lola Tavcar and Daria Nazarenko, earning Seattle U the doubles point. Avdic also claimed victory in her top-seeded singles match with scores of 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 6-2.

The upcoming duel represents both an opportunity for redemption against a familiar opponent and a chance to close out the regular season on a strong note before postseason play begins.
