The Seattle University women’s tennis team will host its first West Coast Conference match against Santa Clara on March 22 at the Mercer Island Country Club.

This event marks a significant milestone for the program as it enters conference play. The Redhawks have already hosted two matches earlier in the week, facing Idaho and Montana State.

During those matches, Lamija Avdic remained undefeated in singles play, securing victories over both Idaho and Montana State’s top players. Avdic also teamed up with Natalia Michta for a doubles win against Idaho. Michta added another singles victory against Montana State.

This upcoming match will be only the second time Seattle University faces Santa Clara. In their previous meeting in 2022, Santa Clara won 4-0.

The Redhawks aim to build on their recent successes as they compete in this important conference matchup.
