The Seattle University women’s tennis team will travel east for its last back-to-back duel matches of the season this week, according to an April 8 announcement.

The Redhawks are scheduled to face Washington State in Pullman on April 11 at the Washington State University Outdoor Tennis Courts, with the match set for 11 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time. The following day, April 12, Seattle U will compete against Gonzaga in Spokane at noon at the Stevens Tennis Center.

Last week marked the Redhawks’ final home duels of the season and included Senior Day on Saturday. During that event, every senior won their doubles match. Larissa Teramura and Lola Tavcar also secured victories in singles competition.

Seattle U has not defeated Washington State in twelve previous meetings, with their most recent encounter ending in a 4-0 loss in 2025. Against Gonzaga, the Redhawks have won two out of twenty total matches. Their last win came in 2024 when Seattle U earned a decisive 5-2 victory; current team member Lamija Avdic contributed by winning her singles match and teaming up with Tavcar for a doubles win.

These upcoming matches represent important opportunities for Seattle U as they close out their regular season schedule.
