Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC announced on March 25 a long-term strategic partnership with Jump, a unified fan experience and ticketing platform, to enhance the soccer fan experience at Lumen Field starting in 2027.
The collaboration aims to create a more integrated, personalized, and seamless journey for fans of both clubs. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort by both organizations to innovate and prioritize supporters in every aspect of their operations.
Hugh Weber, President of Business Operations for Seattle’s professional soccer clubs, said, “Our organization has been diligently focused on the fan and creating an incredible experience. This partnership is about unlocking more customized connections that reflect what our fans expect and deserve. It’s foundational in how we engage with our communities for years to come.”
The new model will allow fans one login and wallet across tickets, memberships, and matchday activities while simplifying purchasing processes. The direct-to-fan approach removes intermediaries between the clubs and their supporters. Kaitlin Bailey, Vice President of Business Strategy & Analytics, said: “This is not simply a change in technology, it’s a strategic evolution in how we operate and grow. We are building an infrastructure that allows us to continuously innovate, adapt and lead in delivering world-class experiences both on and off the pitch for our fans.”
Jump’s platform will also provide embedded artificial intelligence capabilities aimed at streamlining club operations while supporting continued innovation across marketing and business functions. Jordy Leiser, CEO and Co-Founder of Jump added: “From the beginning, the Sounders and Reign have approached this as an opportunity to build something truly innovative and novel… Together we’re going to show what’s possible when two forward-thinking clubs want to elevate the entire fan and business platform.”
As Sounders FC—founded in 1974—and Reign FC—established in 2012—continue their legacies as leading soccer organizations within Major League Soccer (MLS) and National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), this move signals their intent to keep supporters central as they grow.
