Seattle home prices rise in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in Seattle rose by $107,500 while total sales decreased by 48.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were 188 homes sold, with a median sale price of $727,500 - a 17.3% increase over the $620,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 366 homes sold in Seattle in January 2017.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for January 2018.
