The CEO of Cuseum was named to the Forbes Next 1000 list.

Brendan Ciecko, CEO and Founder of Cuseum, was identified as an individual to keep an eye on in the Arts & Style category from Forbes.

The Next 1000 List showcase "innovators and inspiring small business leaders from all backgrounds and industries who are redefining what it means to build and run a business," a press release said.

Cuseum's goal is to help organizations that need assistance with the engagement of visitors, members and patrons through the use of digital tools, its website said. The company does this through a software platform that simplifies processes such as creating membership cards, using data insights and even publishing mobile apps.

"I'm humbled and honored to be recognized on the Forbes Next 1000 list," Ciecko said in a release. "I founded Cuseum to help cultural organizations adapt to the rapidly-evolving digital era, and I couldn't be more proud and enthusiastic about the work we do to help museums survive and thrive into the future."

Cuseum is expected to do great things in arts, culture, media, music, and more, which has earned the CEO a place on Forbes' lists.

"It is an enormous privilege to be recognized on such a diverse list of inspiring and visionary entrepreneurs, changing America for the better," Ciecko said. "I'm optimistic about the world this next wave of business leaders helps create, shape, and reinvent."

The Boston-based company has a number of investors backing them, such as Techstars.

According to his bio, Ciecko is on the Steering Committee of the Museum Council at Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Digital Advisory Board at the Neue Galerie New York, and the Community Advisory Board for the Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts.
