December 2021: Home prices in Seattle increased

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2021 in Seattle rose by $95,000 while total sales increased by 22%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2021, there were 493 homes sold, with a median sale price of $880,000 - a 12.1% increase over the $785,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 404 homes sold in Seattle in December 2020.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for December 2021.
