Home prices increased in Seattle during August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Seattle rose by $10,000 while total sales increased by 23.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 561 homes sold, with a median sale price of $885,000 - a 1.1% increase over the $875,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 455 homes sold in Seattle in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
