Pricing for the median home in Seattle increased during January 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2021 in Seattle rose by $57,500 while total sales increased by 47.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2021, there were 243 homes sold, with a median sale price of $810,000 - a 7.6% increase over the $752,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 165 homes sold in Seattle in January 2020.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for January 2021.
