Get to Know Your Fellow Chamber Member

Today's featured member, Jurea Rubit, owner of All New LLC, said her company assists homeowners and businesses with rehabbing and/or renovating their homes and buildings

for better functionality and use. Her organization partners with Puget Sound Construction in consulting with homeowners and businesses to identify and provide effective solutions

for renovations, add-ons and heating, ventilation, air conditioning – refrigeration (HVAC-R).

To what do you attribute your business' success?

I have read books and attended many seminars about starting, owning, operating and growing a business. I incorporated certain strategies and techniques that improved the

operations of my business. However, I was reaching my breaking point trying to rearrange and incorporate the knowledge obtained all at one time. Then, I remembered the Air

Force assigned me a mentor early on during my military service who kept me grounded and focused to the point that I was able to accomplish my goals and objectives. I realized

that a mentor was needed to assist me as a business owner. So, I got a mentor who became familiar with my business plan, model, goals and objectives. As of today, my mentor

keeps me grounded and focused on my business’ mission, vision, goals and objectives and identifies strategies and techniques to generate business and income. My mentor has

contributed to my business’ success. I strongly encourage you to consider a mentor to assist in accomplishing your future endeavors.

What's one piece of advice you have for someone looking to start or grow their business, or join your field?

The one important piece of advice I give to someone looking to grow his/her business is to build relationships with your customers. This is one piece of advice shared with me by a

successful business owner years back. It’s standard to provide a service and/or sell a product to a customer. However, it’s rewarding when you provide that service and/or sell that

product to the customer you have developed a relationship with. Relationship building allows you to generate more business with that customer and/or an opportunity to be referred

and/or introduced to potential new customers. The lifelong relationships I developed with my customers have contributed to my business success.

How is your business active in your community?

All New LLC has identified and partnered with other disabled veteran business owners: Puget Sound Construction, Military Veteran Solutions LLC, Veterans United and Kingdom

Disciples Christian Center. We have provided resources and money vouchers to assist families with lodging, school clothes and school supplies. We are aware of the struggles and

hardships that families are facing and wanted to be a blessing to them. We hope to partner with other businesses throughout the year(s) to help support families. There is nothing

more rewarding than to assist and support those who are in need. I believe that the more you give, the more you shall receive.
