Come join us out on the campus farm and help as a Harvest Hand. Mondays we harvest veggies all day, preparing them for delivery to campus UW Dining, UW food Pantry, and CSA
member households. There might be extras for you too! Learn food safe harvest techniques, meet new community members and students and help us maintain the three growing
spaces that make up the UW Farm. If harvesting ends early field work and planting will occur, such as transplanting, starting seeds, weeding, etc.
Be sure to register as a volunteer BEFORE arriving. Visiting the "UW Farm Get Involved" website page, and completing step 1 (register with UWBG) and step 2 (complete the
Questionnaire google form). Then just pick a shift on the schedule and show up!
Bring gloves, a hat, snack, water bottle and dress in layers of clothing to prepare for changing weather.
