SEATTLE, WA, FEBRUARY 8, 2024 – After having completed another year of their Service Level Agreement (SLA) Program, Hawaiian Airlines has awarded Flying Food Group - SEA with two awards for the year 2023. The airline has been a Flying Food Group partner since 2014.

In a letter addressed to company leaders, Hawaiian Airlines commended Flying Food Group’s efforts and demonstrated ability to maintain “Green Standing with steady adherence to the Quality & Operational Standards” expected by the airline throughout 2023. For this reason, Flying Food was awarded the ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by Hawaiian Airlines on January 20, 2024. 

The airline also commended Flying Food’s “ level of operational proficiency” which earned the airline catering company the ‘Kitchen of the Year’ award in Hawaiian Airlines’ Domestic route system. This award is “the highest honor”, according to the airline, and 2023 marks the 4th year that Flying Food has earned it. The company has previously earned this award in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
