Three additional Seattle Sounders FC players have been called into international duty for the March FIFA window, the club announced on Mar. 24. Georgi Minoungou will join Burkina Faso, Osaze De Rosario will represent Guyana, and Snyder Brunell has been selected for the United States Under-19 Men’s Youth National Team.
This brings the total number of Sounders FC players on international assignment to five, with Cristian Roldan (United States) and Danny Musovski (North Macedonia) having received call-ups last week.
Minoungou, age 23, has earned nine caps with Burkina Faso since his debut in September 2025 and has scored three goals internationally. He is set to play friendlies against Sudan on March 28 and Togo on March 31 in Casablanca, Morocco. For Seattle last year, Minoungou contributed two goals and four assists over 32 matches across all competitions.
De Rosario also aged 23, holds eleven caps and eight goals for Guyana’s national team. He recently scored in consecutive Concacaf Series matches against Bonaire and Antigua & Barbuda. Guyana faces Dominica on March 27 and Belize on March 30 as their campaign continues. De Rosario joined Sounders FC’s First Team in May last year after a breakout season with five goals in twenty-one appearances.
Brunell, an eighteen-year-old product of the club’s academy system, joins the U.S. U-19 squad under Head Coach Gonzalo Segares for a training camp in Alicante, Spain where they face Wales on March 28 as part of preparations for this summer’s Concacaf U-20 Championship.
Roldan was named to Mauricio Pochettino’s roster for friendlies against Belgium and Portugal later this month in Atlanta. Musovski earned his first call-up to North Macedonia as they compete in UEFA playoffs aiming to secure a spot at this summer’s FIFA World Cup; North Macedonia plays Denmark on March 26 with further matches possible depending on results.
With Major League Soccer pausing during the international break, Seattle Sounders FC will return to league action April 4 when they visit Houston Dynamo FC.
