The Washington Huskies women’s beach volleyball team will compete at the SMC Spring Fling in Moraga, California, on March 21 and 22. The team is set to play against Saint Mary’s and Pacific over the weekend.

This tournament comes as Washington looks to build momentum after a balanced performance at the Stanford Invitational, where they finished with two wins and two losses. The Huskies started strong by narrowly defeating No. 16 North Florida and sweeping Houston Christian but faced tough defeats against No. 2 Stanford and No. 11 Long Beach State. Their current season record stands at eight wins and eight losses.

At the SMC Spring Fling, Washington will open play against Saint Mary’s, which holds a 14-4 overall record, followed by matches with Pacific, which has an 8-21 mark. Saturday’s games begin at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time against Saint Mary’s and continue at 3:00 p.m. against Pacific. On Sunday, Washington faces Pacific again at 9:00 a.m., then concludes the event with another match versus Saint Mary’s at 3:00 p.m.

Live statistics will not be available for Saturday’s matches, and coverage for Sunday remains uncertain.

Looking ahead, the Huskies are scheduled to travel to Austin, Texas, for the Longhorn Showdown beginning March 21. They will face both Saint Mary’s and top-ranked Pacific during that event as well.
