The Washington Huskies women’s beach volleyball team announced on Apr. 16 that it will host the Husky Invitational at Alki Beach this weekend, marking its only home tournament of the 2026 season and the last matches of the regular season.

The event will feature visiting teams including No. 15 Florida Atlantic, Boise State, Oregon, and Portland in a two-day schedule. The Huskies are set to play Portland at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, followed by a match against Florida Atlantic at 3:00 p.m. Saturday’s games begin with Washington facing Boise State at 11:15 a.m., concluding with a matchup against Oregon at 3:00 p.m.

A Senior Day celebration is planned after the final dual on Saturday to honor five seniors from Washington’s team: Jade Sadeiko, Zoria Heard, Ella Tyus, Reagan Peterson, and Katarina Pantovic.

Limited quantities of posters and branded koozies will be available during the event while supplies last. There will be no live broadcast of the tournament; however, fans can follow live stats online.

The Husky Invitational offers an opportunity for local supporters to see their team compete before postseason play begins. Updates and highlights will be shared through social media channels and the Go Huskies app.
