The No. 19 Washington Huskies softball team will return home to Husky Softball Stadium for a three-game Big Ten series against the Minnesota Gophers starting Friday, April 10. The Huskies come back after an 11-game road trip, during which they posted an 8-3 record.

This series marks Washington’s first home appearance since March 18. The first two games will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network, while Sunday’s finale can be streamed on Big Ten Plus.

Washington enters the weekend with a strong record of 31-9 overall and an undefeated mark of 12-0 in conference play. In March, the team went undefeated at 16-0, extending their win streak to 20 games and recording four consecutive Big Ten sweeps over Northwestern, Maryland, Michigan, and Iowa. Pitchers Sophia Ramuno and Rylee Rehbein combined for the team’s first no-hitter of the season during this stretch.

Individual players have also received recognition for their performances: Morgan Reimer was named D1 Softball National Pitcher of the Week on March 24; Sophia Ramuno earned Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week honors on March 30; and Kaycie Burdick was selected as Big Ten Freshman of the Week that same day. Several Huskies are featured in midseason national rankings by position.

The Huskies’ offense has been dominant throughout the season, outscoring opponents by a margin of more than two-to-one through their first forty games. Their pitching staff leads the conference with twelve shutouts so far this year.

Minnesota comes into Seattle with a record of 14-24 overall and is even at .500 in conference play (6-6). Historically, Washington holds an advantage over Minnesota with an all-time record of eleven wins, one loss, and one tie between both teams.
