Washington Huskies to compete in Boise State Beach Bash April 10-11

The Washington Huskies women’s beach volleyball team will travel to Boise, Idaho for the Boise State Beach Bash on April 10 and 11. The tournament will feature matches against Florida Atlantic, Grand Canyon, Florida International, and host team Boise State.

This event provides an opportunity for the Huskies to face nationally ranked opponents and continue their season. Fans can follow live stats for each match, with a live stream available for the contest against Boise State.

The schedule begins Friday with a matchup against South Florida at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time, followed by No. 11 Grand Canyon at 3:00 p.m. On Saturday, Washington faces Florida International at 10:30 a.m., then takes on No. 19 Boise State at 4:30 p.m.

In recent competition, Washington opened its last weekend with a sweep of Houston Christian before falling to Tulane and Texas. Matches scheduled for Saturday were canceled due to weather conditions.

Looking ahead, the Huskies will return home for their only home matches of the season starting April 17 at Alki Beach in West Seattle. Senior Night will be held during this homestand as five seniors are honored.
