The Washington Huskies women’s gymnastics team announced on March 24 that they will participate in the 2026 NCAA Corvallis Regional, scheduled for April 2–5 at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon.
This regional marks an important opportunity for the Huskies as they begin their postseason run. The event determines which teams and individual athletes advance to the national championships.
The Huskies will open their competition on Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m. Pacific Time against San José State. The winner of this first-round matchup will move on to face No. 4 seed UCLA, No. 13 seed Minnesota, and Iowa in a second-round session set for Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. Another second-round session earlier that day features No. 5 seed Alabama, No. 12 seed Utah, Denver, and Oregon State at 1 p.m.
In the second round, rotation orders have been set: UCLA begins on vault and ends on floor exercise; Minnesota starts with floor; Iowa opens with bars; and the winner of San José State versus Washington will start on balance beam.
The top two teams from each second-round session will qualify for the regional final on Sunday, April 5 at 5 p.m., where a place at nationals is at stake. Teams advancing from regionals as well as top-scoring individuals not part of qualifying teams or all-around qualifiers can earn spots at the national championships scheduled for April 16–18 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Washington enters this phase aiming to secure a trip to nationals and make an impact during postseason competition.
