The No. 1-ranked Washington men’s rowing team will compete at the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rowing Championships on May 17 at Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.

This event marks the Huskies’ second year as a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The championship regatta will feature six programs: Washington, California, Stanford, Oregon State, UC San Diego and the University of British Columbia.

Races will be held as grand finals only, with no heats or semifinals. There are five race categories scheduled: first varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight, freshman eight and varsity four. The overall conference champion title will go to the winner of the varsity eight race.

The schedule for Sunday includes races starting at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time with the freshman eight grand final and ending with the varsity eight grand final at 10:00 a.m. Live video coverage is available on Overnght.com by subscription. The IRA National Championship Regatta later this month will also air on Overnght.com.

Washington has won a total of 41 conference championships in men’s rowing since 1961, including their most recent win at Lake Natoma during the last Pac-12 Men’s Rowing Championship two seasons ago. Following this weekend’s championships, Washington will begin preparations to defend its IRA National Championship title in two weeks’ time at Lake Natoma.
