The Washington men’s rowing team won all three of its races against Oregon State on April 11 at Vancouver Lake. The event saw the No. 1–ranked Huskies compete in a dual regatta with No. 21 Oregon State, taking victories in the eights and both fours events.

This outcome highlights Washington’s strong performance this season and maintains their top ranking in collegiate rowing. The results may have implications for future matchups as teams prepare for key upcoming regattas.

During the competition, Washington secured the top three spots in the eights race, with its varsity eight finishing first with a time of 5:39.58, followed by the second varsity eight and freshman eight crews. Most athletes from these crews also participated later in one of two fours races, where Washington again claimed first through third places ahead of Oregon State entries.

Weather conditions caused a two-hour delay to the schedule, but improved by race time. The opening eights race was restarted after an Oregon State crew suffered a broken oar shortly after it began.

The day concluded with another fours race featuring members from both varsity and freshman squads; once more, Washington finished ahead of their rivals from Oregon State. Next for the Huskies is The Dual against California on April 25 at Redwood Shores.
