The University of Washington women’s beach volleyball team will begin its Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Beach Volleyball Championship campaign against Oregon on April 22. The match, set for 10:00 a.m. in Huntington Beach, California, marks the start of the tournament for the Huskies, who enter as the No. 8 seed and will play No. 9 seed Oregon.

This opening match is significant for both teams as it determines their path through the double-elimination bracket. A win would allow Washington to advance and play top-seeded Stanford later that day at 1:00 p.m., with a chance to progress further into the championship rounds. If Washington wins both matches on Wednesday, they would reach Thursday’s quarterfinals with an opportunity to move into the semifinals.

Should Washington lose to Stanford after beating Oregon, or if they lose their first match against Oregon, they will drop into the elimination bracket and must win subsequent matches starting Thursday morning to remain in contention. The format requires teams facing elimination to string together multiple victories in order to advance toward Friday’s final rounds.

All matches are scheduled for live streaming on B1G+, while digital coverage will be available through @B1GVolleyball accounts across various social media platforms including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Bluesky, and YouTube. On Friday, all three concluding matches—including both semifinals and the championship dual—will be televised by Big Ten Network and accessible via the FOX Sports app.

The full tournament schedule spans from Wednesday’s opening round through Friday’s finals at Spiker Beach in Huntington Beach. Matches begin each day in the morning hours with precise times set for each round leading up to Friday’s semifinal showdowns at 8:00 a.m., followed by the championship dual at 10:15 a.m.
