Washington women’s tennis will make its 20th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as announced on Apr. 27. The team is scheduled to travel to Charlottesville for the first and second rounds of the tournament.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Washington has qualified for the tournament. The Huskies are seeded second in their regional and will compete against third-seeded Liberty on Saturday at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. Host school Virginia, which holds the seventh overall seed, will play fourth-seeded Saint Francis at 11 a.m. Pacific Time. Winners from these matches will meet on Sunday at 10 a.m., with a place in the Round of 16 at stake.

The winner of the Charlottesville regional is set to face off against the winner of the Baton Rouge regional next weekend, where tenth-seeded Louisiana State University (LSU), Texas Christian University (TCU), Rice University, and Stephen F. Austin State University are competing.

Washington last played in the Charlottesville Regional in 2024. The Huskies recently finished an 18-4 regular season and entered as fifth seed in the Big Ten Tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals. Reece Carter was named to the All-Big Ten first team and Erika Matsuda earned second-team honors last weekend.
