The Whitman Blues, with former Ingraham High School standout Hayden Stilwell on the roster, were defeated 56-35 by the Hardin–Simmons Cowgirls on Saturday, March 7, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
Mabee Complex hosted the 8 p.m. contest, which marked Whitman’s first encounter with Hardin–Simmons in the tournament.
