Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Washington students paid $15,500 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 56 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 52 students received grants or scholarships totaling $146,601 and 54 students took out student loans totaling more than $258,495.

Including all undergraduates (108), 93 students used grants or scholarships totaling $174,539, and 63 students took out $293,547 in federal student loans.
