September 2021: Seattle experienced a 6.2% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Seattle rose by $50,625 while total sales increased by 19.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were 547 homes sold, with a median sale price of $870,000 - a 6.2% increase over the $819,375 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 458 homes sold in Seattle in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Seattle for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,956, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
