About this event:
This training is part of the King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) Onboarding Academy series for behavioral health clinical staff working within the King
County Provider Network. This training will introduce the concept of medical necessity in behavioral health services and its role in maintaining a Golden Thread within an individual’s
care. Participants also will learn how to establish and document medical necessity clearly in assessments, individual service plans and progress notes. Upon completion,
participants are eligible to receive 1.5 NASW/NAADAC continuing education credit.
