Rep. Pramila Jayapal, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 7th district, has been vocal on social media regarding various policies under former President Trump. Her recent tweets address issues ranging from immigration and healthcare to climate change.

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Jayapal expressed her concerns about the immigration policies of the previous administration: "The Statue of Liberty says: 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.' Yet Trump is trying to strip legal status from hundreds of thousands families who are in the US seeking refuge from Venezuela's violent dictatorship. Cruel and Inhumane."

Later that day, she commented on healthcare and pharmaceutical pricing efforts by Democrats: "Democrats have been working hard to lower drug and health care prices for Americans across the country. But Trump has been trying to undo this work so he can get his rich Pharma buddies even richer. Proud to be joining my colleagues to demand answers."

In a subsequent tweet dated February 3, 2025, Rep. Jayapal highlighted Washington State's commitment to environmental initiatives despite federal rollbacks: "Despite Trump's outrageous executive orders rolling back climate progress, WA continues to be a leader in the fight against climate change. I'm proud to represent a state that takes this threat seriously & remains committed to combating the climate crisis."
